About Our Clinical Director & Occupational Therapist
Maryam Misha
MSc, MBA, OT Reg. (BC), is the Clinical Director of Arise Therapy Collective, founder of OT Gateway Coaching, and creator of the ARISE™ Regulation Framework.
She is a Registered Occupational Therapist with extensive clinical and leadership experience across Canada and three other countries. Maryam is registered with the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), reflecting her global clinical experience and international professional background.
Maryam completed advanced professional clinical training in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and the United States, with a strong focus on neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and mental health-focused care for children, youth, and adults.
Since 2014, Maryam has been leading and supervising other occupational therapists and is passionate about strengthening clinical reasoning and reflective practice within the profession. Through OT Gateway Coaching, she has successfully supported internationally educated occupational therapists (IEOTs) in strengthening their clinical reasoning skills and obtaining licensure in Canada.
She is also recognized as the only Occupational Therapist in Canada who is a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist, Tomatis Method Practitioner, and DBT-Certified Clinician.
